Greg Evans
Greg is a well-known and respected UK travel industry figure who began his travel career with BOAC in 1970 and worked for a number of other airlines including British Midland, KLM and CP Air, until leaving the aviation sector in 1985 to become Co-Founder and Managing Director of the UK tour operator Travelpack where he remained until late 1997. In 1998 he joined Destination Marketing Limited (DML) as a director working specifically for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as other clients including Visit Kentucky. He left DML in 2007 to join Advantage Management Group (AMG) to further develop its client portfolio. He left AMG in 2011 to set up The Greg Evans Consultancy Limited, which has just completed its fifth successful year at the end of June 2016.
Greg’s strength is to leverage longstanding and new relationships, whilst sharing his experience having been in the UK & Ireland travel industry for over 40 years. Greg has travelled extensively worldwide and throughout North America.

Greg is also a director of the UK Visit USA Association and is an active member on the PR Committee. Greg is also a Member of the Institute of Travel & Tourism.

Mark has had a career spanning almost 20 years. Mark has spent his time gaining invaluable experience and skills working in a number of facets of the travel industry. From heading up the reservations team at long haul specialist Tradewinds, to field sales and account management for a number of leading premium cruise lines.

For the last 12 years he has worked within the product and purchasing functions of a number of leading long haul tour operators and wholesalers including Gold Medal Travel Group, Travel Counsellors and Thomas Cook Scheduled Businesses. During this time as well as overseeing significant growth within these businesses to the North American market he was also a key player in the sale process of Gold Medal Travel Group to dnata. Over the last twelve months he has been heavily involved in the merger of both the UK and UAE based travel businesses for dnata whilst also heading the purchasing function for North America helping to create what can now be considered one of the largest travel groups in the world.

Mark has a passion for North America and not just from a work perspective, whilst he has spent significant amount of time travelling to the USA from a business perspective he also loves spending time on vacation in the States and has a great appreciation of the variety the destination offers.
